Yellow Watermelon Surprise.

I cut open my first yellow watermelon this afternoon. And was greeted with this beautiful surprise on the inside.

I have no idea if all yellow watermelon have pretty little designs on the inside of them. I was worried at first that it may be over ripe, but it wasn't. Yummy, and sweet. I mixed it with some red watermelon and will be taking this colorful bowl of summer to a BBQ this afternoon. Now if only the weather would start acting like summer again.
