4th of July

4th of July in the Northwest was cold again this year. Last year summer arrived earlier then usual. This year it pretty much was right on time days after the 4th of July. Shane spent a large portion of his afternoon in the hot tub. Not a bad place to be while it is raining and cold outside. We had a nice time visiting with Kenny's family and eating lots of food. Then we headed home to see what fireworks we could see from our new neighborhood. We kept Shane up completely against his liking. He truly just wanted to go to bed and really wanted nothing to do with the fireworks, BUT we figured he had kept us up on many occasions and it was fair just this once. We took a five minute walk from our house to where we can see Lake Washington once there we were able to see fireworks shows from Kirkland, Bellevue, Renton, Lake Union and everything in between.
