We'd like to wish our first "child" a Happy 7th Birthday. Six years ago we adopted little 1 year old Suggie (Sugar Plum Princess was her full name) now known as Sadie Rose (or Pup Pups, Puppy, Old Lady Sadie). Since then a lot of things have changed and dropped her further and further down the family ladder. Back in the day on her birthday I would have made her a special treat to eat and she would have even received some birthday gifts. These days she is lucky if we even remember it is her birthday.
We do still love her very much and give her as much attention, walks, treats and cuddles as time with two kids will allow. She'll always hold a special place in our heart as the first member of our family.
